Prithwe Earthing Centre

Prithwe Earthing Centre

Nestled along a serene riverfront just two hours from Pune, Prithwe is a pioneering space for grounding, healing, and conscious connection with nature. Designed by Ar. Mayank Barjatya, a leader in Building Biology, the centre is free from geopathic stress and negative earth energies offering India’s most energetically balanced environment.

Earth Connection : The Missing Link

Earth Connection : The Missing Link

The human body naturally produces reactive oxygen species (ROS) to fight infection and repair injury. While effective, these positively charged molecules can also damage healthy tissues if not quickly neutralized. Traditionally, the Earth provided a constant supply of negative electrons through direct contact especially via bare feet helping to balance inflammation and protect the body’s energetic equilibrium. This grounding connection was part of human life for millennia. However, with the rise of rubber-soled shoes and modern indoor living, we’ve become disconnected from the Earth’s charge, leading to increased inflammation and stress-related imbalances. Reconnecting through earthing restores this vital flow, supporting healing and overall wellbeing

The Benefits of Earthing

The benefits of “Earthing” have been substantiated by several scientific studies and are getting the attention of open minded people. The science of Earthing is based on the principle that all living creatures are electrical by nature and that the human body is a dynamic conductor of electrical impulses. The energy residing on the surface of the earth is primarily electrical in the form of negatively charged free electrons. Free radicals, the main source of inflammation, tissue destruction and disease are positively charged. The practice of Earthing effectively neutralizes the positively charged free radicals.

Bamboo and Earth Architecture

The vast legacy of Earth Architecture has been observed in the traditional and vernacular architecture since ages. Even today, Earth is a local resource of building material. It is neither manufactured nor transported. It can be found everywhere nearby. Earth has different size of grains in its components namely clay, sand, silt, gravels. Earth architecture consists of different building techniques which needs certain proportion of these components. Variety in the different sizes identifies the quality of the earth. It is very essential to identify the earth in terms of its organic contents.
That’s how it helps in

  • Saving energy and reduces environmental pollution.
  • Earth is a 100% eco-friendly building material.

Projects

At Prithwe we believe in using building material which is available within 5 kms. Village Kurunji in Bhor has a big bamboo plantation and we use the same Maize bamboo for all our constructions, we use local wood from already fallen trees and creat hybrid structures where bundles of several thin maize bamboo are tied together and used as roofing members.
